Today marks 89th Anniversary since the Shembe Nazareth Baptist Church Leader and Founder Prophet Isaiah Mdliwamafa Mloyiso Shembe also known as UMqaliwendlela, UBhombela Isitimela SamaMpondo and INkosi YaseKuPhakameni passed on. 

He founded the Church on the 10th of March 1910. 

He was born on the 3rd of April 1865 in ENtabamhlophe in Escourt. His parents were Mayekisa Khumalo and Sitheya Hadebe. 

He led the Church from the 10th of March 1910 until he passed on the 2nd of May 1935 at the age of 70. May Today be a Sacred and Special day to all the Congregants and Members of Nazareth Baptist Church as they Commemorate and Celebrate UMqaliwendlela.
